Scambook’s Kase Chong sat down with News-Press’ Melanie Payne to discuss the recent Facebook hacking by wasvideo. 11,000 Facebook users were part of the cyberattack where the following message was sent: “Wondering if you are in “thiss videeo”? Wasvideo was then linked to a site that looked identical to Facebook. Once users logged in, wasvideo hacked their account and sent the message to users’ friends.
There’s a lot more Facebook information than users think that hackers can gain access to. Not only is there information about your location, birthday, relatives, and work, but information can be divulged even through “Likes” of different company pages. This email and password combination, hackers can also use to hack into other accounts that have the same login and password used. Cyberattacks happen all the time, but this one differentiates itself in the amount of traction it received. Please familiarize yourself with Scambook’s tips they offered News-Press to prevent yourself from being a victim of a future, similar attack.

Hi there would you mind letting me know which webhost you’re working with? I’ve loaded your blog in 3 different browsers and I must say this blog loads a
lot faster then most. Can you recommend a good hosting provider
at a reasonable price? Many thanks, I appreciate it!
