Tech Tuesday: Adobe Creative Suite Enters the Cloud Era

PMBC Group, Los Angeles’ Corporate PR firm, has always had a strong affinity for the Adobe Creative Suite offering top products like InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Making headlines today, is their announcement to move their services to utilize the cloud, now being called Adobe Creative Cloud. Users will no longer be able to buy individual programs or apps at a flat rate, instead only offering their products by monthly subscription.

Adobe introduced the Creative Cloud subscription based service last year as “Creative Suite 6,” where users could pay $29.99 to access one Adobe product each month for $49.99 for access to the entire Creative Suite (the CS6 Master Collection). Since its launch, the Adobe Creative Cloud had more than 500,000 premium users sign up within the first nine months, in addition to the 2 million free Creative Cloud subscribers. Although, meant for the individual users, such expansion has prompted the development of Creative Cloud for Teams. The best part about this new product launch, is that users will now have access to constantly updated features with the latest security and fixes available through the Cloud.

With data centers located in the US, Russia, Brazil, Canada, and Europe, the cameras connect to ivideon’s software in an impressive five minutes.
