1985 – Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York” becomes the official anthem of New York City
1979 – Pink Floyd premiered their live version of “The Wall” in Los Angeles
1964 – The Beatles land at New York’s JFK airport, for 1st U.S. tour
1958 – Dodgers officially become the Los Angeles Dodgers, Inc.
1940 – Walt Disney’s 2nd feature –length movie, “Pinocchio” premieres in NYC
1915 – The first wireless message was sent from a moving train to a station.
