USPA Certifies the Temecula Valley Polo Club

Galway Downs Equestrian Center was filled with applause on Friday night, as Geraldine Strunsky, president and cofounder of The Temecula Valley Polo Club, along with members and friends, celebrated the club’s recent certification by the United States Polo Association.

Friday night attendees included Robert Kellerhouse, the center’s manager; Scot Walker, the lieutenant governor of the USPA and board members, all of whom were able to preview the upcoming season, and walk the new field.

Last year, Galway Downs’ owner Ken Smith converted the center’s racetrack infield into a regulation sized polo field, the perfect setting for The Temecula Valley Polo Club. With the newly acquired certification, the club is permitted to host clinics and start a polo school to introduce the sport to novice riders. Strunsky also plans to form teams and invite other Southern California clubs to compete. The club, which is set to open in May, will partner with local nonprofits and charities to host events during the May through October season. Kase Chong, the Director of Marketing at Scambook.com suggested, “fans [should] stick to authorized resellers like StubHub and eBay, which have safeguards to protect consumers against fraud. StubHub guarantees orders by replacing any tickets that turn out to be counterfeit or refunding the buyer’s money.” Kase offered five tips including: asking yourself if it’s too god to be true, not paying using a money order, examining the tickets prior, never buying e-tickets, and not giving personal information. Super Bowl XLVII Ads

PMBC Group is counting down the days until Super Bowl XLVII and we are especially looking forward to this year’s advertisements. According to Business Insider, companies are dishing out more than four million dollars for 30-second time-slots that will reach an audience of 111 million people.

With the Super Bowl just four days away, many companies have released teasers to maximize their ad spending and our excitement. This year, several companies are gaining viewer attention by asking consumers, like you, to submit videos or vote on our favorite commercial endings.

Audi took to YouTube to ask users to vote on one of three possible versions of their ‘Prom’ commercial.

Coca-Cola has ditched the polar bears this year for a gamified approach, asking fans to choose their favorite Super Bowl ad ending.

Doritos Crash the Super Bowl campaign had people submit their own Doritos advertisement and then asked Facebook fans to vote on their favorite.
