Starting tomorrow, Silicon Beach Fest is about to explode with some of the hottest new talent in the form of startups, incubators, accelerators, investors, angel groups, and VCs. With Santa Monica Daily Press knowing the happenings of Santa Monica, it was an honor that they dubbed ROC the “home base.”

ROC having partnered with Digital LA to host the event makes them the central location of this year’s SBF. Editor Ashley Archibald saw that ROC embraces the Silicon Beach Fest vice and “mirrors the kind of the kind of real estate business that he runs.”

Ron told the SMDP, “This is a culmination of making the office environment evolve. To bump shoulders while getting coffee, bounce something off of someone with a more creative mind, it’s brilliant. You don’t have that every day.”

Ron also called ROC the “Switzerland of business” for its efforts to maintain a “come one, come all” policy about its offices. These offices will be open to those still wanting to work, with an enclosed area and crowd management. Westside Today Looks Into ROC Among the Silicon Beach Scene

Last February, Jeffrey Hall of the Brentwood News visited PMBC Group‘s client Real Office Centers: Santa Monica to conduct a little research of his own for ‘The Latest.’ Learning about ROC and what it takes for startups to make it, Hall tried out his idea on ROC’s CEO and Founder Ron McElroy.Hall knew ROC is one of the premiere office spaces where startups and venture capitalists come together. Touring the offices, he got to see the coffee bar and soon-to-be cafeteria, conference rooms and other gathering places such as the picturesque rooftop for relaxing, co-working, and events. Ron told Hall about the “serendipitous meetups [that] can lead to extraordinary collaborations. With as many as 200 small companies that can fit inside the place, that’s a lot of potential for collaboration.” As companies grow they have room to expand, without disrupting work, and can continue collaborating with others throughout the process. Ron McElroy of ROC Speaks with Investor’s Business Daily About Collaboration Growing Businesses

Investor’s Business Daily’s Amy Alexander spoke with CEO and Founder Ron McElroy of Real Office Centers about what it takes to build both a business and industry. The answer, collaboration.
